QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed by DESE in Moderate Disabilities PreK-8 (Required) Early Childhood PreK-2 (preferred).SEI Endorsement Experience in implementing curriculum and instructional strategies for integrating young students with and without disabilities (public school experience preferred).
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the design and delivery of instructional services to children with and without disabilities in accordance with early childhood learning standards and a students Individual Education Plan.
Participation in screening and identifying children who may require specialized instructionParticipate as a member of the students IEP team, by administering diagnostic assessments and preparing related reports, attending TEAM meetings, developing goals, and monitoring student progress.
Consult and collaborate with parents, related service providers and other professionals on behalf of students with disabilities and typical learners Experience in training / supervising paraprofessionals in early childhood classroom strategies Consistent and timely communication with families
