Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed by DESE in Moderate Disabilities PreK-8 (Required)
- Early Childhood PreK-2 (preferred).
- SEI Endorsement
- Experience in implementing curriculum and instructional strategies for integrating young students with and without disabilities (public school experience preferred).
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the design and delivery of instructional services to children with and without disabilities in accordance with early childhood learning standards and a student’s Individual Education Plan.
- Participation in screening and identifying children who may require specialized instruction
- Participate as a member of the student’s IEP team, by administering diagnostic assessments and preparing related reports, attending TEAM meetings, developing goals, and monitoring student progress.
- Consult and collaborate with parents, related service providers and other professionals on behalf of students with disabilities and typical learners
- Experience in training / supervising paraprofessionals in early childhood classroom strategies
- Consistent and timely communication with families
