Job Description
The Groton-Dunstable Regional School District is looking for a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at Florence Roche Elementary School. A knowledge of writing IEPs and Progress Reports a must. Salary in accordance with the Unit A contract.
- experience modifying curriculum for students requiring small group and individualized instruction in literacy and math
- experience planning full lessons for literacy and math for students accessing a specialized setting for core content
- ability to run and manage a specialized program including managing the daily schedule of all students as well as paraeducators
- provide support for students with access to inclusion and generalizing skills back into the inclusion setting
- ability to support and manage students with challenging behavior as well as support and manage student support plans
- knowledge of OG and/or other specialized literacy curriculum preferred
- knowledge of ABA methodology for behavior intervention and/or learning needs
- experience supporting students with social emotional learning needs
- ability to work collaboratively with a team of service providers including SLP, OT, PT, BCBA’s, and counselors
