This opportunity is for an experienced Special Education Teacher to support elementary students with cognitive and behavioral disabilities in a high-needs school setting. The position offers a structured contract for the 2025-2026 school year, providing an impactful role within a dedicated educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

Massachusetts DESE Special Education certification required Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially those with cognitive and/or behavioral disabilities Strong classroom management skills and the ability to design individualized education plans Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning experiences

Location:

Boston, MA Contract duration: August 25, 2025, to June 26, 2026 Weekly hours: 37.5, Monday through Friday Caseload includes students needing specialized instruction and behavioral support Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and counselors, to support student growth Utilizing evidence-based teaching strategies to enhance student learning and development Maintaining thorough documentation related to student progress and behavior Engaging respectfully with families to promote partnership and student success
