IEP Coordinator 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 1116 Webber Pond Road, Vassalboro, ME 04989 Special education IEP coordinator (2 day a week, for 2025/26 school year): Experience working with K-8 students. Candidates will be familiar with and be able to complete required State Special Education paperwork associated with case management and provision of Special Education Services. The candidate will hold appropriate certification or licensure defined by the Maine Department of Education and CHRC. Must have one of the following certifications: 030 Administrator of Special Education 035 Assistant Special Education Director 079 Special Education Consultant 282 Teacher of Students with Disabilities 286 Teacher
- Severe Impairments 291 Teacher
- Visual Impairments 292 Teacher
- Hearing Impairments 293 Speech and Language Clinician A successful candidate will be able to provide instructional support to classroom teachers in overseeing the delivery of special education services.
Oversee all aspects of IEP development. Facilitate IEP process, information exchange, and preparation for IEP meetings.
Additional responsibilities might include:
o Provide guidance and assistance for special ed. staff o Student observations o IEP online reports
- manage and monitor due dates for IEP and written notice compliance o Monitor IEP’s for correct formats, goals, services, progress reporting, goal progress, and alignment to the eligibility team Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential to this job.
The candidate will be communicating and collaborating with colleagues, administrators, parents, students, and community members.
