Qualifications:
Associate Degree or a minimum of 60 college credit hours. Valid MO DESE Substitute Certificate or proof of having passed the state-approved paraprofessional assessment. Previous experience working with K-6 students, particularly in special education settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers and staff. Ability to adapt to varying classroom environments and manage different student needs.
Location:
O’Fallon, MO Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional plans and support students’ learning. Provide individualized support to students, particularly those with special education needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation. Collaborate with educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Monitor student progress and behavior, ensuring a safe and productive learning space.
