Job Summary Essential Responsibilities/Duties

FRONT DESK

1. Welcoming all students, faculty, staff, and visitors and providing direction to the
appropriate area for service 2. Answering incoming telephone Is to provide general information or connecting calls to appropriate staff member.
3. Serving as oversight for tracking all visitors by adding appropriate information to front desk log, including non-student information, and ensuring all students sign in and out of the computerized tracking system.
Managing the faculty test folders by assisting faculty with access, safe-guarding tests and exam passwords, and following faculty testing instructions.
Completing pre-testing procedures by inspecting identification to verify student identity, reviewing testing instructions with the student, assigning a locker, securing all restricted
items in a locker, and delivering the test and instructions to the testing proctor.
6. Assisting students with retrieval of personal items from the lockers post-testing.

TESTING ROOM

1. Preparing the testing environment by turning on all computers in advance of testing and maintaining the supply of testing tools (pens, pencils, paper, erasers, etc.) available to students.
2. Maintaining testing log for scheduling and reporting.
3. Logging students into computers using the ASC username/password and entry of exam passwords, when applicable.
4. Monitoring testers to ensure all faculty instructions are followed, no unauthorized device is utilized, no additional websites are accessed, or any other cheating tool is employed.
5. Gathering evidence of cheating and reporting to the ASC Director.
6. Completing all post-test procedures by collecting tests, securing completed tests while in the testing room, ensuring computer is returned to the desktop start screen, and filing tests in the testing folders at the front desk.
7. Maintaining a quiet testing environment free from distractions. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree required, Bachelor preferred Preferred Qualifications Higher education experience preferred. Special Instructions For more information concerning this position, you may contact:
