- North Carolina Soliant is partnering with schools in North Carolina to schedule interviews for a fully remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher for the 2025-26 school year.

Additional Details Contract:
1099 independent contracting (paid 100% in full weekly)
Hours:
Full-time hours (35-40 hours), including indirect time
Platform:
We work with Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
Rate:
$36-42/hour, including indirect time, depending on experience
School Hours:
7:30 to 3:30 PM district time
Requirements Degree:
Master’s Degree in
Deaf Education or Special Education Certification:
North Carolina state Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher certification
Experience:
Past deaf and hard of hearing teaching experience in a school setting, with remote experience preferred
Set Up:
Home computer with camera and microphone functions with strong internet connection
Fluency:
Preferred fluency in ASL is highly recommended, but not required Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for deaf and hard-of-hearing students Provide virtual specialized instruction tailored to each student’s IEP Conduct virtual assessments to monitor student progress Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress, interventions, and IEP goals Participate and facilitate in virtual IEP meetings If this is something you’re interested in, please apply now for immediate consideration.
