Gym Teacher Position Available In Durham, North Carolina

Gym Teacher Gifted Stars Early Learning Academy Durham, NC 27701 We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Gym/P.E. Teacher to lead structured physical education or movement classes for our young learners. This part-time position is for only 1-2 hours per week and is ideal for someone who loves working with children and can create fun, age-appropriate fitness experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead engaging physical education and movement activities for children ages 3-6 Encourage physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence through play and structured movement Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during activities Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Coordinate with the school staff for scheduling and space use

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children in a school, daycare, camp, or recreation setting Background in physical education, movement, fitness, early childhood education, or a related area (preferred) Energetic, friendly, and patient demeanor Ability to plan and adapt short movement-based lessons CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain
