An opportunity is available for two Special Education Teachers to support self-contained elementary classrooms serving students in grades K-3. The role involves working closely with a small caseload of six students, supported by a dedicated Paraprofessional, fostering a collaborative team approach to meet diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored instructional plans that address the academic and social-emotional needs of students with disabilities in self-contained K-3 settings. Collaborate with paraprofessionals to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) effectively. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of educational and behavioral data. Engage with families and multidisciplinary teams to support students development and inclusion. Adapt teaching strategies and materials to facilitate active participation and growth.

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-3), preferably in self-contained settings. Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation. Ability to collaborate effectively with support staff and families.
