One year old teacher Bridge of Hope 100 Anthony Grove Road, Crouse, NC 28033 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. This role involves implementing curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students and encourages a love for learning. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports childhood development. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Utilize Montessori principles to enhance student learning experiences. Collaborate with other educators to design interdisciplinary projects. Provide early intervention strategies for students requiring additional support. Maintain classroom organization and manage student behavior effectively. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Requirements Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; certification in Elementary Education preferred. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting is essential. Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning. Knowledge of Montessori methods is a plus. Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
