Our mission is to foster a love for learning through innovative STEM programs and a supportive community. Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Leadership Teacher to lead weekly lessons for students in grades K-5 using a research-based Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum. This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about character education, student empowerment, and building a positive school culture. Key Responsibilities Implement a structured SEL and leadership curriculum for K-5 students Model and teach core competencies including self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to align SEL instruction with school-wide behavior expectations and PBIS initiatives Lead classroom discussions, role plays, and interactive activities focused on leadership, empathy, goal setting, and conflict resolution Monitor student engagement and adjust instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs Track progress and report outcomes related to social-emotional growth and character development Support school-wide events, morning meetings, and leadership assemblies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred) Teaching license or equivalent experience in an educational setting Experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom, SEL, or counseling role Knowledge of SEL frameworks (such as CASEL) and trauma-informed practices Excellent communication, classroom management, and relationship-building skills Enthusiastic, reflective, and deeply committed to fostering student growth
