We are hiring for a full-time Client Care Specialist with a minimum of 1-year of experience in a veterinary hospital. This person will provide outstanding client and patient care in a fast-paced, multi-doctor hospital and should be professional, positive, reliable and eager to learn. We are searching for a team member who is passionate and energetic about connecting with people and their pets and promoting better wellness care for pets, as well as interest in cross training opportunities to further grow their skills. The Client Care Specialist duties and responsibilitiesinclude, but not limited to: Greet and assist clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience. Be a team player and work with all members of the hospital staff and clients and patients. Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Utilize Avimark – electronic medical records system – to maintain proper documentation through client and pet records, i.e. referral documentation, previous medical history received, etc. Schedule appointments for patients in accordance with established procedures. Check patients in and out and collect payments. Demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette, solid customer service skills, and an exceptional level of communication in a professional manner. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations. Advocate for pets through client education on preventative care, pet health needs, treatment recommendations and all other hospital services/procedures. Support the Hospital Management team with implementing and managing wellness care plans. Possess knowledge of veterinary medical terminology. Maintain cleanliness of the hospital.
