Fully Remote – Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired in North Carolina for 25-26 Soliant is working with school districts in North Carolinato schedule interviews for a fully remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the next school year. For our virtual roles you will be treated as an independent 1099 contractor, meaning youll have flexibility in your personal schedule and finances to provide remote services. Hours:

Full-time hours (35-40 hours), including indirect time

Requirements Degree:

At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related degrees (preferred Master’s Degree in Special Education)

Certification:

Visual ImpairmentTeacher Experience:

Past SPED teaching experience, with remote experience preferred

Set Up:

Home computer with camera and microphone functions with strong internet connection, capable of running Zoom or Microsoft Teams Responsibilities Provide synchronous online instruction for students with IEPs, specifically with visual needs. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed. Collaborate with onsite staff and faculty to support student needs.
