Job Description
Healthcare Applications Specialist Accentuate Staffing Morrisville, NC 27560 Accentuate Staffing is working with a growing healthcare technology organization that is hiring an Applications Specialist to join its team. This organization is dedicated to optimizing care delivery through modern technology platforms and is currently investing in its application infrastructure to enhance usability and functionality across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in healthcare application configuration, software development, and data analysis within a healthcare or insurance environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for understanding business workflows, collaborating across departments, and developing application enhancements and customizations.
Responsibilities:
Configure and support core healthcare management applications, including workflows, rules, alerts, reports, and data integration tasks Collaborate with internal departments to analyze tickets, identify issues, and implement modifications that improve system usability Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of system changes and upgrades Develop and maintain documentation related to application configuration, migrations, and process enhancements Provide technical insight during system upgrades, working with vendor support teams and business users to ensure smooth transitions Translate business needs into scalable and compliant system configurations
Requirements:
Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience in IT systems support, with programs like JIVA, EPIC, or similar EHR Proficient in T-SQL scripting, stored procedure debugging, and database management Experience with tools such as Visual Studio, SSRS, XML, JSON, and C# Ability to manage technical documentation and work collaboratively in Agile environments

$85,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
