This position offers the opportunity to work with students across all disability categories while maintaining the flexibility and work-life balance of remote employment. Program Overview This full-time role encompasses 37.5 hours per week, serving students from elementary through high school with emphasis on intensive support needs. Manage a diverse caseload of 40-50 students requiring individualized programming across multiple disability categories and support levels. Primary Responsibilities Provide intensive virtual instruction for students with significant cognitive, behavioral, or multiple disabilities Develop sensory-rich virtual learning experiences adapted for diverse learning needs Implement positive behavior support plans through virtual coaching and family training Coordinate with related service providers including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech pathologists Support students in self-contained virtual programs and inclusion consultation Train and support families in implementing educational strategies at home Participate in comprehensive evaluation processes and eligibility determinations Student Support Categories Work with students requiring intensive support across categories including autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, deaf-blindness, and other health impairments. Experience with augmentative communication systems and assistive technology integration highly valued. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Special Education with multi-categorical endorsement Current New Hampshire special education teaching certificate Minimum 2 years of experience with intensive needs populations Training in positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) Experience with assistive technology and augmentative communication Virtual service delivery experience preferred but not required Understanding of complex medical and educational needs Excellent collaboration and communication skills Professional Development Focus Access ongoing training in emerging best practices for virtual special education, assistive technology innovations, and evidence-based interventions for students with intensive needs.
