We’re building a team of exceptional special education teachers who are committed to student success and skilled in remote instruction delivery. Assignment Details This full-time position requires 37.5 hours weekly, focusing on middle and high school students with diverse disabilities. Your caseload will include 50-60 students requiring various levels of support, from supplemental services to intensive intervention. Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized education programs using virtual platforms
- Provide direct instruction in academic skills, life skills, and behavioral support
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain detailed progress records
- Collaborate with general education teachers for inclusive programming
- Facilitate IEP meetings and coordinate with related service providers
- Communicate regularly with families to ensure continuity of support
- Participate in professional development and team collaboration activities Mandatory Requirements
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Exceptional Children, or equivalent field
- Current New Hampshire special education teaching certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in school-based special education programs
- Proficiency in virtual instruction methodologies and educational technology
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Knowledge of special education law and compliance requirements
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for remote work Preferred Background Experience with secondary special education, transition services, or specific disability categories such as autism, intellectual disabilities, or learning disabilities is highly desirable.
