Position Type:

Full-Time or Part-Time Contract (1099 Independent Contractor) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to provide virtual educational services to K-12 students in New Hampshire. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while making a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities Individualized Instruction:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.

Virtual Teaching:

Deliver engaging and effective virtual lessons using platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Progress Monitoring:

Assess and track student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to ensure academic success.

Collaboration:

Work closely with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to provide a comprehensive educational experience.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of student progress, IEP goals, and other required documentation.

Virtual Meetings:

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and team discussions to ensure coordinated support for students.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Certification:

Valid New Hampshire Special Education teaching license.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education; prior remote teaching experience is advantageous.

Technology:

Proficiency with online teaching platforms and tools; ability to troubleshoot basic technology issues.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage and support students and families remotely.

Organization:

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience with teletherapy or remote teaching platforms. Familiarity with IEP writing platforms and digital instructional tools. Ability to create and adapt instructional materials for online delivery. Benefits Competitive hourly pay.
