Job Description
The Litchfield School District is seeking applicants for a Teacher Special Education Teacher of our Life Skills Program at Campbell High School. The Special Education Teacher will perform the duties required by NH RSA186-C and which are a direct result of a student’s needs for a Individualized Education Plan. This teacher will work with a variety of students on completing requirements to graduate, whether through a Regular Diploma, Alternate Diploma, or Certificate of Completion. The teacher will work with local area agencies and other key stakeholders on developing transition plans to facilitate and address post-secondary goal. The teacher will provide instruction targeting functional life skills, including, but not limited to: cooking, cleaning, money, shopping, The Teacher willTo coordinate/facilitate as many opportunities as possible to engage students in the Life Skills program in a variety of activities at Campbell High School. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, foster student growth, and contribute to the school community.

Salary:

Qualifications:

Valid New Hampshire Certification or eligibility in Special Education. The successful candidate should have strong classroom management and communication skills and a passion for education and student development.
