We are currently seeking experienced Plant Health Care Specialist(s) who are ambitious self-starters with a passion for preserving and caring for trees. This position involves monitoring, evaluating, and addressing the plant health care needs of trees and shrubs on both commercial and residential properties. What You’ll Do Administer targeted treatments using foliar sprays, trunk injections, soil injections, and air spade excavation methods Provide clear, informative communication to clients about services performed and landscape health Accurately mix and safely apply pesticides and fertilizers in accordance with proper diagnosis, product labels, and safety regulations Operate and maintain company equipment, including sprayers, soil injectors, hand tools, and specialized arboricultural machinery Maintain detailed documentation of all service activities, materials used, and observations Safely drive company vehicles to and from client properties Support the general tree care team with pruning and maintenance tasks during less active PHC periods Qualifications & Preferred Experience Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, or related field OR prior experience in the tree or lawn care industry strongly preferred. Knowledge of species-specific insects, diseases, and cultural care practices Commercial Pesticide Applicator License in NH, MA, and ME preferred (but not required—we’ll support the right candidate in obtaining one) Valid driver’s license Must successfully pass pre-hire drug and alcohol screening , motor vehicle record (MVR) check , and criminal background check .
