This role is essential in providing support to students with educational and/or physical disabilities in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all students. Minimal medical support including mobility assistance and supported transfers is required. Duties Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Support students in their academic tasks, including subjects such as math and literacy. Collaborate with teachers and special educators to implement curriculum materials suited for students with developmental disabilities. Provide assistance during activities. Offer minimal medical support such as mobility assistance and supported transfers. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Background in educational support roles is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically and socially.
