The Ocean City School District is accepting applications for the following position:
Elementary Special Education Teacher
Location:
Primary School
Effective Date:
September 2, 2025
Minimum Qualifications:
A valid New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities with the appropriate co-certification required: Elementary School Teacher or Elementary School Teacher K-6 Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
Knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies and classroom management
Experience writing and monitoring data driven IEP goals and objectives
Ability to effectively support the social and emotional learning needs of students in an inclusive environment
Criminal History background approval, HIB training and proof of New Jersey residency required by all successful applicants This position qualifies for district benefits including, but not limited to:
