Diagnostician – Newark, New Jersey 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Newark, NJ 07104 Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An educational role is available for a professional with expertise as an an Educational Diagnostician and Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) to serve in a high school setting. This contract position runs from September 2, 2025, through December 23, 2025, and operates during the normal school year calendar.

Monday through Friday, 7:35 AM to 2:20

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose learning disabilities in high school students Serve as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, providing targeted support and interventions Manage and coordinate individualized education programs (IEPs) for approximately 50 students Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop effective learning plans Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to optimize educational outcomes Maintain all required documentation and comply with district and state regulations
