Educational Diagnostician – Edison, NJ 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Edison, NJ 08817 Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Student Caseload:
Approximately 50 students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to identify learning disabilities and determine eligibility for services Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administration Provide ongoing case management for a caseload of approximately 50 high school students Consult and collaborate with educators to support instructional strategies and accommodations for students with learning disabilities Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to fostering a supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Certification as an Educational Diagnostician and Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) Proven experience in conducting assessments and managing cases for students with learning disabilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and related service providers Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices This position offers the chance to make a measurable impact within a dynamic high school setting for a critical portion of the academic year.
