Special Ed Teacher – Pennsville, New Jersey 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Pennsville, NJ 08070 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a K-12 public school located in New Jersey. This is a full academic year contract position designed for educators passionate about supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning needs. Adapt general curriculum materials and modify teaching strategies to accommodate various disabilities. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student growth and engagement. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback and maintaining accurate documentation. Create a supportive and structured learning environment that encourages independence and positive social interactions. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional techniques.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting. Strong knowledge of individualized instruction strategies and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to implement effective accommodations and modifications in accordance with IDEA and state regulations.
