Patient Care Specialist/Biller

• Full-Time Advanced Care Foot and Ankle 9 Mount Bethel Road, Warren, NJ 07059 We are looking for a Full-Time Patient Care Specialist/Biller to join our team at our Warren podiatry office .

Reliability and strong organizational skills are a must! The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy , with experience using Gmail, Google Docs, Excel/Sheets, and smartphone apps . Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Spanish-speaking skills are a plus! We offer a friendly and supportive work environment , encouraging independent work without micromanagement.

Job Responsibilities:

Answering phones and assisting patients Collecting payments for copays, deductibles, and product sales Scheduling and confirming appointments Updating and maintaining patient records Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean treatment environment Managing inventory and ordering supplies Preparing treatment rooms between patients Insurance verification and billing Obtaining insurance referrals/authorizations

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus
• Medical administrative support, patient service, and office experience
• Proficiency with medical terminology and medical billing
• Experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Medgen
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Google Excel and Google Docs
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
