Job Description
Category Schools – Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist Job Type Contract Soliant Education is looking for a Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to work onsite for a school district near Stamford, CT . This is a part-time, contract role for the 2025-2026 school year .

6 students (Grades 3-7) 3 receiving direct services 3 consult-based services

Setting:
In-person at assigned school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Consult with educators, families, and service providers to implement appropriate accommodations Ensure compliance with IEP goals and documentation standards Advocate for student access to communication, academic content, and social inclusion
Qualifications:
Must hold valid Connecticut or New York certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (depending on school location) Comfortable managing a small, diverse caseload Knowledge of hearing technology and communication strategies required Must be available to work onsite
