TIME SALARY

$45,031 (Bachelor’s Degree) $47,177 (Master’s Degree) Salary negotiable based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals. + Develop, implement, and IEPs in collaboration with the CSE team, families, and service providers. + Adapt general education lessons and curricula to meet the needs of students. + Collect and analyze data to inform instruction and report on student progress. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure inclusive practices. + Maintain compliance with federal and New York State education laws and regulations. + Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs. Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of learning and growth. + Additional duties as assigned by administration

Qualifications:

+ Current New York State Certification Special Education Birth-6 required or B-12 preferred + Knowledge of IDEA, Part 200 regulations, and best practices in special education. + Experience developing and implementing IEPs + Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. + Commitment to equity, inclusion, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with assistive technology and data-driven instruction. + Experience working with diverse student populations and families. + Experience working with high management needs, including those with high management needs, including those with significant cognitive disabilities, or physical disabilities.
