Teacher St. Francis de Sales Early Childhood Learning Center 220 Henry St, Herkimer, NY 13350 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic and personal growth of students. This role involves engaging with children, developing lesson plans, and implementing effective teaching strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Facilitate engaging classroom activities that promote literacy education and math skills. Provide individualized support for students with special education needs. Create a nurturing & creative environment Employ effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Assess student performance through various evaluation methods and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional practices and share resources. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is preferred. Experience working with children in an educational setting Strong skills in lesson planning, literacy education, and math instruction. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively. A genuine passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
