Position:
Planting & Yoga Instructor Schedule:

1 day/week (3 sessions per day)

Pay:

$300/day ($50/hr) – $1,200 paid monthly , regardless of clients attendance

Location:

In-person, small group setting

Client Population:

Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) About the Role I’m looking for a compassionate and upbeat instructor to lead 3 sessions per day , each consisting of two 45-minute back-to-back classes : one yoga class , and one planting activity . You’ll have 10 minutes in between each class for prep and transition time. Each session serves a group of 4 clients , meaning you’ll work with 12 individuals total per day . What is Valued This isn’t about advanced yoga flows or complex gardening projects. It’s about offering accessible, thoughtful experiences that promote joy, confidence, and progress .

Passionate, encouraging, and creative Patient and understanding, yet confidently structured when needed Mindful of clients’ abilities and able to adapt activities for success Able to lead with warmth, clarity, and a sense of fun Key Responsibilities Design and lead easy-to-follow yoga movements and basic planting activities Foster a positive, inclusive environment Recognize progress and adapt sessions to support growth Arrive prepared and on time Maintain respectful structure while encouraging fun and participation Preference 1+ year of experience in yoga, gardening, teaching, or related fields Experience with lesson/activity planning Strong communication and group leadership skills A creative mind and a kind heart Why Join Us?
