SETSS Teacher Harlem Link Charter School – 3.2 New York, NY Job Details Full-time $63,000 – $120,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications CPR Certification Teaching Certification English Mid-level Master’s degree High school diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree Special Education Teaching Full Job Description Qualifications A master’s degree (or higher) in Special Education Appropriate New York State teaching certification Two or more years of teaching experience preferred Key Responsibilities Process vide Integrated SETSS Co-teaching (push in) in classrooms in ELA and Math as part of the SETSS services for students Provide daily Stand-alone SETSS service instruction to students using a research based intervention curriculum Differentiate small-group instruction for K-5 students with IEPs that include SETSS programs in ELA and Math Create individual SETSS goals for academic performance that are specific, measurable, ambitious, rooted in data, and time-bound Conduct frequent checks of understanding during lessons Maintain records of each student’s progress towards IEP goals Write reports that include progress monitoring data for IEP meetings; participate, and participate in IEP meetings Write detailed report cards tri-annually to communicate student progress to families Foster and promote Harlem Link’s values to ensure a positive, caring, responsive and safe learning environment with structures that are both inviting and containing. Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders within Harlem Link’s professional learning structures, such as but not limited to Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), coaching, and training to develop best practices and grow as an educator in order to meet the academic outcomes for students. Compensation, Benefits and Hours The salary range for this position is $63,000 – $120,000 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Harlem Link is committed to providing our team with a range of benefit offerings at a competitive value. Benefits are provided in accordance with school policy. Teachers are required to be at the building from 8:15am – 3:45pm three days a week, and from 8:15am to 5:00pm two days a week for professional learning opportunities. Teachers also begin the school year in mid-August for a mandatory two-week Summer Institute training.
