We welcome new graduates or students who are actively enrolled in an Early Childhood Special Education Master’s program to apply . NYCCD will provide support to those currently pursuing a certification in early childhood special education. Responsibilities :
Work closely with Teacher Assistants and other staff Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans Monitor children’s progress towards IEP goals Engage with families keeping them informed of their child’s progress Assume a vital role in the continuation of our commitment to early childhood education and mental health Represent NYCCD and the child at annual CPSE/Turning 5 meetings and any requested review meetings One of the following is
REQUIRED
: NYS Teaching Certification, Permanent Special Education Professional Certification Students with Disabilities (Birth-2nd Grade) Initial Certification Students with Disabilities (Birth-2nd Grade) Enrolled in an
Early Childhood Special Education Master’s Program Salary Range:
$55,000.00-$66,000.00 There is a stipend in addition to the salary.
