Position Overview We are seeking warm, dedicated, and qualified Special Instructors to provide early developmental services to infants and toddlers in home and community-based settings. Special Instructors support children with developmental delays by building skills through play, routine-based learning, and family coaching. Responsibilities Provide direct early childhood special education services to children ages 0-3 Implement strategies based on developmental goals and individual child needs Coach parents and caregivers on using intervention strategies during everyday routines Document session notes and progress reports in a timely and organized manner Deliver services in natural environments such as the child’s home, daycare, or community spaces Maintain regular communication with agency supervisors and participate in trainings Qualifications Master’s Degree in Special Education (Birth-Grade 2) required Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families preferred Strong communication, observation, and time-management skills Ability to work independently in home and community settings Bilingual skills a plus (not required) What We Offer Flexible scheduling (part-time and full-time availability) Competitive compensation A supportive and responsive administrative team Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Opportunities to serve in the boroughs that match your availability
