$80/hr

On-Site Locations Salary:

$90/hr Brookville Center for Children’s Services provides early intervention services for children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or disabilities. Our mission is to educate and support children of all abilities. We are seeking a Per Diem Special Education Teacher to provide appropriate special education services to assigned children.

Address significant behavioral situations through the use of positive reinforcement behavioral management plans and/or seek assistance from the behavior support team. Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher. Actively supervise students in and out of the classroom. Implement appropriate education strategies to meet the needs of assigned students. Oversee and manage assigned teacher assistants/aides in all areas of the educational day. Comply with OCFS license regulations (where applicable), SED regulations and agency policies and procedures.

We require:

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred New York State Certification in Special Education One (1) year of related experience planning individual education plans to meet the special needs of a child or children preferred Physical aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of a child/student.
