We are currently seeking Behavior Support Professionals (BSP’s) in the North Hills and South Hills. The primary functions of the Behavioral Support Professional are: § Complete and update Functional Assessments/ Behavior Support Plans within timeframes § Develop strategies to support the individual based upon assessment/ interviews § Provide training to staff, relatives, and caregivers on initial and all revised Behavior Support Plans § Provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities in residences, family homes, and community settings and ensure safety in the home and community § Collect and interpret data related to targeted behavior § Graph and Analyze the collected data § Attend ISP/ other meetings as needed by the Team § Review case monthly and complete Monthly Reports § Meet monthly with Executive Director and/or Director for supervision. § All other duties assigned by Executive Director and Director of Behavioral Services. To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are required: § Bachelor’s Degree with 2-year experience working with individual’s with ID/Autism. § Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social work, Education, Counseling, and/or any Behavior Related field. § Formal or informal experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferable. § Background checks (criminal history, child abuse, FBI, MVR). § Must complete orientation/staff training/Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) trainings. § Applicants Must be 18 years of age or older.
