Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Position Summary:
Seeking a passionate and qualified Middle School Special Education Teacher to join our supportive team in Whitaker, PA . The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators and support staff to provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and foster student growth both academically and behaviorally.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction based on IEP goals Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers Monitor and document student progress Utilize behavior strategies and differentiated instruction Maintain open communication with families and team members
Required Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Special Education (7-12 or K-12) Strong classroom management and organizational skills Experience working with diverse learners preferred
