Category Schools – Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract A dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Special Education Teacher is sought to join a collaborative educational environment in Coraopolis, PA. This role focuses on creating a tailored learning experience for students with diverse needs during the extended school year.

Coraopolis, PA Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that reflect each student’s unique goals. Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP objectives to facilitate student learning. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom setting. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs.
Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Special Education (7-12 or K-12). Strong organizational and classroom management skills. Experience working with diverse learners is preferred. Ability to utilize behavior strategies and differentiated instruction effectively.
