Description:
Birch Agency is seeking Emergency Certified Special Education Teacher to join our team We are currently hiring special education teachers for opportunities in the Philadelphia, PA. We are open to full-time candidates. We have positions available for Special Education Teachers from elementary to high school levels. We are interested in working with special education teachers/intervention specialists who have a passion for making a difference in students’ lives by providing differentiated instruction to help them achieve academic success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct childcare services, including serving as the child’s teacher. Assist in implementing the classroom plan according to state and local licensing regulations and Birch Agency’s policy and procedures. Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning through implementing program planning. Maintain professional growth through professional development opportunities. Support the Special Education Coordinator in implementing the Early Childhood Development Plan in accordance with state and local licensing regulations and Birch Agency’s policy and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education or the School Principal as needed.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree Valid PA Certification in any subject and be willing to be emergency certified in Special Education Experience working with students with special needs preferred Birch Agency is hiring special education teachers for positions throughout Pennsylvania and the United States.
