Job Description
Category Schools – Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Chester Upland School District is seeking a full-time Special Education Program Teacher at Chester High School for the 2025-2026 school year . This role focuses on workforce development, life skills, and transition planning for students aged 17 and older . This is an onsite position with a caseload of 8-15 high school students . The ideal candidate will have strong classroom and behavioral management skills, experience in urban educational settings, and the ability to support students with diverse needs as they prepare for life after high school.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction focused on life skills, career readiness, and transition services Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with PA state standards Differentiate instruction and use formative assessments to guide progress Support IEP goals and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with support staff and community-based programs
Requirements:
