Job Description
Category Schools – Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 4 through 8 through pull-out instruction in ELA and Math for the 2025-2026 school year . This is a full-time position working with small groups of students who require individualized support to meet their learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted instruction in ELA and Math in a pull-out setting for students in grades 4-8 Develop and implement effective, data-driven lessons aligned with IEP goals Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and support staff Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with IEP requirements Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
Qualifications:
Valid PA Special Education Certification (K-8 or equivalent) Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred) Experience with small-group instruction and differentiation Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Commitment to equity and inclusive education
