Three year old classroom head teacher Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church Preschool 4600 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville, PA 15668 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for students, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth. This role involves working with students in a private school setting, focusing on curriculum development and effective behavior management strategies. The Classroom Teacher will play a crucial role in educating young minds, particularly in subjects such as Math, while also providing essential daycare and toddler care services. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Educate students in various subjects, with a focus on learning to enjoy school. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Provide individualized support to students based on their unique learning needs. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum development and teaching strategies. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during daycare and classroom activities. Foster a love for learning by encouraging curiosity and creativity among students. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with students in a classroom or daycare setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of child development principles and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a supportive atmosphere. Knowledge of curriculum development processes is advantageous.
