Category Schools – Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an exciting opportunity in Lexington, SC. This contract position is designed for the upcoming school year, focusing on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for elementary students with diverse needs.
Qualifications:
Valid state certification in Special Education, with a preference for Multicat certification. Experience working in self-contained classrooms, particularly with students in the 3rd to 5th grade. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies. Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and other staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
