Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field Valid state certification or licensure in Special Education Proven experience teaching elementary students, particularly those with behavioral challenges Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with support staff and families Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and commitment to implementing them
Location:
Easley, SC Responsibilities:
Develop and implement instructional plans tailored to the needs of 14 elementary students Collaborate with paraprofessional support staff to create a conducive learning environment Focus on behavioral interventions and strategies to promote positive student outcomes Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Maintain detailed documentation of student behavior and academic progress Communicate regularly with families regarding student development and needs
