Job Description
Category Schools – Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of the Hearing Impaired (DHH) to support students in Sumter, South Carolina for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, onsite itinerant position working across multiple school sites.

July 25, 2025 – May 22, 2026
Schedule:
37.5 hours per week
Caseload:
30 students (itinerant) across multiple school locations
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments Support teachers and staff in the use of assistive listening devices (FM systems, etc.) Collaborate with school teams to ensure accommodations and support plans are implemented effectively
Qualifications:
Active South Carolina Teaching License Certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher or equivalent license Previous experience working with FM systems and itinerant service models preferred
