Job Description

JOB EXPECTATIONS

Case Manager 20-25 students with IEPs
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the learner
Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with regular education teachers
Demonstrate the ability to provide instruction in a co-teaching learning environment
Be able to develop an appropriate learning environment with effective classroom management
Be able to communicate effectively
Communicates effectively with student stakeholders
Be able to use effective instructional methods
Demonstrate ability to organize and plan the instructional program
Demonstrate skills in evaluating the instructional program and student progress
Possess effective interpersonal skills
Demonstrate willingness to grow professionally
Demonstrate knowledge of subject area
Be able to run succient IEP meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and Tennessee teaching license with appropriate endorsement required 460, 144
Teaching experience preferred. Requires a Special Education endorsement.
Salary paid in accordance with the Teacher Salary Schedule. Salary is based on 2024-2025 Salary Schedule due to approval by the BOE for 2025-2026
