$43.7K – $55.4K a year 7 hours ago Qualifications Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist Clinic Mid-level PMHNP Under 1 year Full Job Description •MUST have experience credentialing new TN clinics, including group NPI.•We are seeking an experienced, TN Based Credentialing Specialist for a one-time, contract-based role to credential a new outpatient behavioral health clinic with TennCare (Medicaid) and major commercial payers in Tennessee Please do not apply if your experience is limited to renewals or maintenance. We are specifically looking for someone who has successfully completed full credentialing for new clinics, including group NPIs and initial payer enrollment .

Responsibilities:

Complete and submit initial credentialing applications for our group practice and psychiatric providers (PMHNPs and/or collaborating physicians) Manage credentialing with TennCare MCOs (BlueCare, Wellpoint, UHC) and major private payers Navigate CAQH, NPPES, Availity, and Medicaid portals Ensure all required documentation is gathered, completed, and submitted accurately Follow up on application status and troubleshoot delays Provide guidance on timelines, compliance, and payer expectations for initial enrollment

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience successfully credentialing new mental health clinics (not just providers) Familiarity with TennCare MCOs and behavioral health regulations in Tennessee Proficient in CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and state Medicaid systems Excellent organization, follow-through, and communication Ability to work independently and provide clear updates
