Special Ed Teacher – Murfreesboro, Tennessee 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Murfreesboro, TN 37128 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. A dedicated Special Education Teacher – Case Manager opportunity is available in Murfreesboro, TN, serving an elementary school setting. This full-time contract position, requiring 37.5 hours per week, is ideal for an experienced educator ready to manage and support diverse student needs throughout the school year.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing, implementing, and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Maintaining accurate and detailed data records to ensure compliance and track student progress Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize educational outcomes for elementary and middle school students Providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities Advocating for student needs and fostering an inclusive learning environment Preferred qualifications and experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with elementary and middle school caseloads Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with IEP management Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to special education Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills
