QUALIFICATION
Meets all health, physical and background-check requirements Hold a current Tennessee Teaching Certificate in at least one area of Special Education Have successful teaching experience in Special Education Have both training and successful experience working with students with disabilities with moderate to severe behavioral problems Have thorough knowledge and understanding of and ability to apply Federal, State and local regulations regarding the identification, placement and discipline of students with disabilities Strong Interpersonal skills-ability to work effectively with a wide range of people (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, other professionals in the school and community, support staff, parents, etc.) Strong written and verbal presentation skills Please see attached job description•
