The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic and personal growth of students. This role involves working with children in a private school setting, focusing on their overall welfare, including special education needs and literacy education. The Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and implementing effective behavior management strategies. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes child welfare. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as needed. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including those with special educational needs. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student development and classroom activities. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; certification in Elementary or Middle Grade Education is preferred. Experience working with children in daycare or educational settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of literacy education strategies and special education practices. Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan engaging lessons effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with students, parents, and staff. A commitment to child welfare and the ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners. A commitment to Christian values and modeling a Christian life is required.
