Opportunity Overview We are seeking an experienced school psychologist to provide virtual services to students across various educational levels. This remote position typically involves 37-37.5 hours per week, supporting a diverse caseload of 45-55 students through comprehensive psychological services. You’ll collaborate with virtual educational teams to deliver evidence-based interventions and support student success through secure online platforms.

Service Delivery:
Virtual platforms with team collaboration Essential Job Functions Evaluation and Assessment Duties Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations using remote assessment tools Conduct virtual cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments Complete thorough psychological reports with recommendations Attend virtual IEP meetings and evaluation planning sessions Direct Service Provision Provide individual counseling sessions through secure video platforms Facilitate virtual group counseling for students with common needs Deliver immediate crisis intervention and mental health support Implement therapeutic interventions for anxiety, depression, and trauma Professional Collaboration and Consultation Work collaboratively with virtual multidisciplinary teams Consult with families through video conferences and phone contact Provide mental health education and training to school personnel Partner with special education staff and administrators Administrative and Documentation Tasks Maintain detailed electronic records and case documentation Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports within required timelines Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations Monitor student progress and intervention outcomes Mandatory Qualifications Education and Professional Credentials Master’s degree in School Psychology (non-negotiable) Current Vermont school psychologist licensure in good standing Minimum 2 years of experience providing school-based psychological services Demonstrated competency in virtual service delivery methods Technology and Professional Skills Advanced skills with video conferencing and collaboration software Experience with electronic documentation and record-keeping systems Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Professional home office with high-speed internet connectivity Clinical and Educational Expertise Comprehensive knowledge of psychological assessment instruments Understanding of special education law, IDEA, and IEP processes Mental health counseling and crisis intervention experience Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices Virtual Work Environment Benefits Remote work provides the opportunity to serve students throughout Vermont while eliminating daily commutes and offering greater schedule flexibility.
